In January 2012, at the annual Careers Conference convened by theUniversity of WI--Center on Education & Work, Barbara presented The Career Readiness Certificate in a Systematic Approach to Building Careers to an enthusiastic audience of educators.
The 2011 ACTE Convention was held in St. Louis, November 17-19. Barbara presented on the The Career Readiness Certificate in a Systematic Approach to Building Careers.
Barbara presented at the 2011 CAEL conference, Adult Learners in a Changing Landscape, in Chicago November 10. Her topic was using CRC as the basis for stackable employment credentials to build a career.

Barbara was a panelist at the Celebration of Learning & Teaching conference (sponsored by WNET-NY) in New York, March 19, 2011. The topic for discussion was Taking Back the American Dream: Education & the Global Economy
Making The Connections: New Approaches to Acquiring Skills and Building Careers in a 21st. Century Global Job Market is a white paper released in February 2011. Barbara was a co-author with Mitch Rosin, Editorial Director, McGraw-Hill School Education Group.

The Career Readiness Certificate: A Guarantee of Trainability was Barbara's presention at the Fall conference of the National Council for Workforce Education in Washington, DC, October 2010.
